Bullying doesn’t stop at the playground. I have been wearing a mask for my immune deficiency for 3 years now. I had a lady refuse to sit next to me on a plane, and have had many strange looks or people staring at me. I have been questioned many times, which I welcome as an opportunity to educate. I have learned to be an advocate for myself and others. However, not everyone has learned to use their voice or has built up their confidence. A little over 6 months ago I joined efforts with one of our local Sheriff Dept officers to collect plastic lids which will be turned into an anti bullying bench at one of our elementary schools. Throwback to just this February when I was brunching and laughing with these ladies @crystalcavey @mrsamericanelegance2020 @brynley_pritchett at the iconic @bryantparknyc and having the time of our life at @nyfw @nypl and seeing @itsjoshuamckinley new Spring line! This picture reminds me of how we need to pray for New York City right now.
